Underwater Birds

Where i'm standing in the above picture was underwater about twenty-four hours prior to this picture being taken. Nashville and surrounding areas have recently been devastated because of floods. Luckily, my house is (mostly) fine, but others have not been so lucky.

I've been gathering up stuff to take to donation centers. I feel bad that I just bought a shirt, though and people have lost theirs.

Worry and Anticipation.

I'm quite hungry. I'm bored and I want to go home. But, anyway, I am leaving for DC tommorrow night after dance class to visit Howard finally. I plan on signing my scholarship letter while i'm there.

I keep having weird dreams about weird stuff. I am totally in love with the above picture.

John Michel Basquiat

I just finished watching Basquiat. I used to think John Michel Basquiat was some kind of genius. I figured he wasn't just another artist who thought he knew something about the world that everyone else didn't. But, I was wrong and he was also wrong. But, hey we're all wrong in some way or another at one point in time or another. I could be wrong right now. I still find his artwork quite interesting...but I no longer see him as a visionary and I still struggle to pronounce his last name...
